Endoscopy

Endoscopy is a non-surgical procedures conducted by colorectal surgeons like Dr. Parameshwar CM. It is used to examine a patient’s digestive tract. An endoscopy can be used to understand the root cause behind a wide range of symptoms including difficulty swallowing (dysphagia), constant pain in abdomen, quick weight change, vomiting, continuous diarrhoea etc.

The colorectal surgeon uses an endoscope which is a flexible thin tube with a light and an attached camera to take pictures and videos of inside the patient’s digestive tract and transmits it onto a video monitor. This procedure is called an endoscopy.
